disco lift
Ja1983:
they should fit with mild trimming... mines on (or was) 235/85 R16 with a +2 lift, and the rear archs caught on full flex.... i`ve almost got a set of 235/75/16`s swapped on to it, they should be more at home, although dont forget Mud tyres + remould = bigger than standard....
....also i dont think the anacondas are rated much over 41mph iirc?? thus will fail come MOT time/police checking as the manufactureres top rated speed is in excess of the tyre rating.
DEANO3528:
Yes good point.
They are 'K' rated which is less that 75mph, which is severely below the vehicles designed max speed.
Therefore unless you are trailering to an event or swapping once there you really should not fit them. It's not just the test day, if you were to be involved in any RTI and they sussed your tyres, you would be in deep kimshi! Insurance Co's love a 'get-out' clause. Also if you haven't already bought them, I believe they are made by Colway who are currently in administration, and supplies have dried up.
matstrooper:
i was actually involved in an rta with them the police didnt say anything they are actually a 265x75x16 not 265x70x16 i want to put them on the standard 16" freestyle alloy wheels im putting 2"inch extended bump stops on also will they go on these alloys has anyone already got this setup or similar could you put some photos on cheers mat.
extreme90:
yes they will go onto the allys no problems
just try to refrain from letting the tyres down too much, as you'll bend and nock up the allys
and oh dear, they aint orange springs are then
