Hampshire (southampton specifically) ...

A cursory glance around google suggests that you might still be the closest :(

hehe, oh well,  there's a tescos nearby and it's not like the 200 is especially "refined"

Have a look at

http://www.biodieselfillingstations.co.uk/outlets.htm

or

http://www.thebiodieselcook.com/

between them they list most of the biodiesel outlets.

Hope that helps.

It does and it doesn't...

Thanks for the help, all I need to do now is move to a county which sells the stuff...

Oh well, I'll be getting the V8 sooner or later so perhaps I should just get used to being skint ;)

How far away from you is your nearest outlet?  The reason I ask is due to someone else having the same issue, I suggested to him that it may be worth clubbing together with some like minded mates and bulk buying (usually about 1000 litres).  You can usually get it a bit cheaper in bulk, plus it saves you having to go back and forth if the supplier isn't local.  All you need is an IBC and somewhere to store it.

Or you could just get some jerry cans and stock up if the above isn't of interest to you.

As pointed out there is one not far from me, well 20 mins drive. Just fill afew cans up as I have large numbers of 20L cans sat here while I work out what to do with em.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

Still at 0.94something here in Telford, but I wonder if it's worth the extra 14p a litre to avoid coming here?  :?

Was passing a little garage today in the middle of the Lincolnshire countryside. I had to look twice as they were charging £1.15 for diesel.

I did need fuel so I went into Boston and found Tesco selling at 99.9p a litre. I think that the days of the pre £1 litre are numbered in Lincs.

I get the point, but what are you lot going do about it (the price)?

I cycle to work a lot, and if I want cheap fuel (not likely) i'll run on regular diesel..

I am never going to be able do anything about it, so it's pointless moaning, it just makes you miserable ...

Demand ?

It used to be cheaper of course, but now it's in higher demand (due to the sort of more efficient argument for diesels) hence, it's more expensive.

Currently 105.9 for diesel here in the Aberystwyth area, and that's both in town and out here in the wilds.

OK, this is getting really OTT now.

Went into Stornoway this afternoon and passed the cheapest petrol station on the island to find that diesel has gone up 5p a litre since Friday!!
Petrol - 111.9p
Diesel - 117.9p
LPG - 44.5p

At this rate the LPG kit for the V8 is looking really good, but how can diesel be 6p a litre more than petrol?
