tyres rub on fall lock, failed mot :(

I mot ed my 110 today and told the garage that the tyres were catching a bit and he still pasted it.

I don't think it should have failed for that, its not on an mot. He probably attributed your power steering leak to it (which is a fail). Both mine have always passed at different garages despite having significant rub issues. I like to get as much lock as i can and the noise irritates my old man!

reading that &  the previous two posts, it sounds to me like your MOT tester is very strict as my old Vit passed with this much offset:



& the front tyres fouled the body work (whilst on full lock only).

Next year, I'd look for another test centre mate  :wink:
