Ford bought into the Iveco large truck business (subsequently dissolved if memory serves) - Iveco are a subsidary of Fiat.
But dang, that thing doesn't half look like a Santana!

There does seem to be a lot of parts commonality in the ford and iveco 3.5 tonne trucks we have at work for iveco to be fiat's.

Just had a google. I'm wrong sorry, they are fiat's. So that makes more sense.
