ProComp Shocks
Jamin:
Just wondering how common this is;
Got back today and could hear a wet rasping sound coming from the rear of my disco... walked round the back expecting to find air escaping from the tyre as they are probably a bit wide for the rims... but no rear mud flap and inside of the tyre covered in oil or something
Immeadiate thought check brake and fuel lines and then found this:
click for bigness
you can see the it bubbling out from the bottom of the shock where they are welded:evil:
At least its the rear and easier to change, and wouldnt have minded, but i would have thought the shocks dont take a real pounding on the A43! :evil: :evil:
J B:
they will replace that under warranty, tell who you bought it from or contact procomp directly 8)
Jamin:
Did think about that, the only problem is they were bought second hand from a fellow member and although were brand new still in the box i think the warranty would be void. :roll:
J B:
nope contact procomp, they should replace it 8)
Jamin:
Sweet :D Ill contact them and find out :D Cheers
