Uprated brakes?

Range Rover Blues:
Sorry mate, that wasn't a dig.  Blue is AKA "The Spanish Inquisition".  You know that scared "where the hell did that come from" rabbit-in-the-headlights look you sometimes get from someone that pulled out without looking? well I've lost count of the number of times I've seen that look, usually whilst anchoring up or taking evasive action.

Whups, having reread mine it looked like I was having a pop - which very much wasn't the case - it just came out a bit wrong! Sorry 'bout that :oops:

I meant to say that once they've bed in, new pads and disks of the ordinary sort can show an improvement in braking.

For anyone else still reading the thread, another top tip is to take a look at the state of your fluid - that can get a bit 'spongey' as it detriorates. If you are replacing the fluid, despite what the media says, avoid any of the silicon based fluids - they absorb water which makes them go spongey even quicker.
