Voltage

Mark_Solesbury:
I try and use it at least once a week... But it only does a 30mile run to work and back then.

It gets some use off road at weekend, but only when i can afford it!

Range Rover Blues:
14.3 volts springs to mind as the maximum voltage to charge a lead-acid battery so TBH your alternator sounds fine.

What you need to check is how mucg leakage you have with the ignition off, but many aftermarket alarms are pants at battery drainage

bertie_bas205:
I would get the batteries drop tested. It seems to be charging a wee bit on the high side possibly cause one of yer batteries is dodgy.....

minty:
the wife had new batteries not so long ago becuase thay kept going flat (long story cut short) after x2 battery's and x2 alternater's now got a healthy charge of 18.2v the alternater was on its way out
