Radius arm Trailing Arm
gnasha:
finally getting round to rebuilding the 90 now we got most of the parts we need got R/R axel's but i need to no will the R/R Radius arms and Trailing Arms fit ok on the 90 chassis
smo:
Depends on the age of the chassis, essentially the arms are the same, but there are wide and narrow versions
muddysteve:
if the 90 is pre 1995 it will need the thinner front arms, but if your fitting rangie axles then the arms that fit the axle is what you need. chassis end of the arms is the same
rears are the same (rangerover cds tube ones are stronger)
clbarclay:
I take it the 90 is the 2.5 N/A in your sig so 1980's vintage and will narrow radius arms. The radius arms on RRC changed from narrow like on early 90's to wide in 1986 at the same time as they went EFI and changed to both dampers on the rear axle leaning forwards. The 90 changed to wide arms with the introduction of the 300TDi.
It was only in the 1990's that the went from tube trailing arms to the weaker solid arms so your 90 ones should be the tube type.
gnasha:
the chassis ithe 90 came with had more holes than a fish net so got another of ebay that one came with R/R axel's but no arm's and n/s/f hub missing then a pair of R/R axel's with 2" lift springs and shocks and arm's come up on ebay so got them going to put the front axel on as the hub is not the same the one on the chassis has 7 bolt's to the axel on the pair i just got it has 6 bolts
