What is a good price for
Range Rover Blues:
The 38mm or inch and a half is offcuts from overhead gantry decking, comercial use stuff. I've got some and it's, well it's ok, the grip is never great and it creaks if you use it as a bridge, better to use 2 thicknesses.
To be fair I don't think the 2 inch stuff is any better fro grip, some is wirse as it's not gritted.
At the end of the day I don't think someone went out and invented the stuff for us to use, I think they tried to find a market for all their offcuts.
lambert:
Off cuts eh? Well at that point in time i'll be keeping my eyes peeled at work cos some are bound to turn up round here soon. The joy of working an industrial area.

With a lardy rangy rover thats probably true but for BigBlue here with something that ways about a tonne less they'd probbly be fine at 25mm. Have seen 110 defenders bridging on 38mm stuff.
Whilst they are "off cuts" most are decking thats been deliberately bought to be cut up for waffles, if you look at the spec for the stuff its more than capable of supporting any normal 4x4.
lambert:
Whilst that may be true of the motor my fat gut does compensate more than a little! :D
L90OOK:
Have a look at the Devon 4x4 website
