what the hell is going on in some other parts of this forum?
i thought that the specific models of cars found further up the page example DISCOVERY forum headings was for technical advice. for example if someone cant start their disco, or how to change a cambelt... techy more precise questions where those with the knowledge from previous experiences can give their veiws on the matter.
not: "how to make my truck sound louder"
or: "how much KKK have you spent on your motor"
or: "how many lights is it right to have"
or: "massive tyres the next big thing"
[Edited], these questions are for the bar or not at all. personally i think some of those are NOT AT ALL questions... but hey, if the particular person wants to post them so be it... but not in the technical advice sections.
now i know what i am going to do and probably some others are already doing is not posting into these threads, but they shouldnt be there in the first place???? :evil:

we are monitoring the situation closely,  the best way of dealing with inappropriate material is to bring it (and the reasons for it's inappropriateness) to the attention of the moderation team using the report post button, from there on we'll do what we can to address the situation accordingly.

Rob, whilst I'm sure everyone shares your frustration dont put yourself in the firing line to make a point. The admin team isnt daft, well not in that respect anyhow.

Being serious for a mo, we can handle people pointing stuff out. What kinda sucks is when people take moderating and such into their own hands. We've had too many threads degenerate into petty slanging matches just because people don't like a topic. We'd be really appreciative if that was to stop.
