hello for my first 4x4 im not sure what to go for, im in the west country and need a vehicle to get me from a-b, funds are tight this time of the year so will be next year, i need it for off roading, but it must be great with economy.

thats why im trying to sell my pc and a radio etc to make funds.

What you gonna use it for & how much you got to spend?
Where in the West Country are you?
No 4x4 is great with economy...expect 26-36mpg for a diesel depending on engine.

I would recomend a Disco 1, early 200 or 300 TDI as there great in everything except, fuel economy is not great at about 25 average, but at least you can improve that and go run on veg oil...

i just thought that a military vehicle would have had a good life and looked after very well, and would look good.
