F1 Hell!
Jake:
Let down by the team in China and having car troubles in Brazil killed Lewis's championship
Yes, going of in turn 3 was a mistake (he is a rookie after all) but wasn't the end of the race
He's done a sterling job this year and im really looking forward to next year now.
At least Kimi won instead of the whinging spainiard
I'll be keeping my eye on these great web sites over the winter to find out who will be whose team mate's
www.grandprix.com
www.formula1.com
www.itv-f1.com
On another note, did any catch the possible points deduction that may be coming because of Spyker?
It still may affect the championship result
Torro Rosso and Super Aguri and even the new Prodrive driven Dave Richards teams could be in the preverbial next year because of it too.

Jake...gotta disagree with you.
Hamilton is no rookie, he's been racing for many years & made poor decisions which failed him. He won GP2 last year!
He should have had the World Championship in his back pocket in the last race...he didn't even have to win the race. Putting the car off the track is no-ones fault but his own!
McLaren haven't exactly made it easy for him though!!

Your right and wrong in both sense's
Most/nearly all racing drivers start at around 8 years of age in carting.
However they go through their career and what ever formula's they drive in (and regardless of how they do) They will always be a rookie in their first year in F1.
The year that Kimi and Nick Heidfield came to F1...
They were on the McLaren sponsored Gp2 (then F2) team as team mates and battled down to the wire for the top spot.
Both of them's first year in F1 was a huge learning curve and they had no chance of title contention.
Lewis comes in and the whole of England expects.
We now have our own Scumacher and he's going to win a few championships.
This was his first year in a F1 car, lets look forward to the next 10
years

Hamilton has driven very well this year, hist first lap lunge was foolish, but the gear issues and 3 lap (as a result) strategy made it impossible to win. However it was the tyre stupidity in China that cost him i my mind.
The silver lining, no pun intended.
Is that with the "cheating" issue hanging over McLaren this year it may be better for him to get the title next year on a clean sheet? especially if joe public that only started watching F1 this year associated this season with cheating.
