200 tdi owners warning !!!!!!!

Hi All

As I was finishing up the timing belt job on me truck I noticed that the top engine breather to air intake joint had split 2/3 of the way round it was not visible until I gave it a nudge and it opened like a mouth this would be a major water sucker . I took the plastic part off the end of the air box which includes the joint into the garage and used a soldering iron to weld the joint then ran some sealer around it .

Just thought I'd mention it as it might save an engine for someone :D
