What Bargains did you get at the Sod?

After being there from 10:30 to rush in and find a decent 200tdi bumper it took me until the very last few minutes to find a decent bumper but with 1 end cap.  :twisted:  Â£20. Down from £30 though. It has no ounce of rust on it though which is good.

Also got a caravan clamp on bracket for a stabiliser and a bracket for the car (bull dog type leaf spring jobby) all for £10. I think the guy thought I wanted the stabilser too but I have that in me shed! Could have sold the stabiliser on ebay but I couldnt be bothered.

Got 2 alloy rims for a disco 1 for nothing. Not quiet a bargain though. they were mine all along which a mate had them as he took the tyres off as he wanted them so just returning them to me :lol:

I also was a witness to the accident on the mian road entrance. It shook me up just watching it  :shock:  :?

I also got 2 cornish pasties off the home made pastie stall.

Was cheaper than I had planned but I did plan to hopefully find a heavy duty bumper. I think ebay may have to start playing a role in my life :lol:

Towstrap, jate rings, steering guard. all very reasonable.

Was a bit dissapointed though TBH, there seemed to be a lot of 'rubbish' stalls selling tat compared to the last one.

Still, getting a steering guard was nice.....put my first ding in it today as well........

brought a un-finished tax-exempt S3 V8, new chass, and bulkhead and running gear..which also had set of 5 mods and new XCL's on them for £450....also a lightbar, steering and track rod bar from Kenson, a tool set of the tool man, from £120 to £50, a dixon-bate droplate £40 (new), swingway £45, bag of assorted nuts n bolts

S3 bulkhead with only a ut of surface rust (dressed)
S3 dash dials
Nato Tow Hitc (for the farm stuff!)
S3 Grille

£50 the lot!

Got a light bar, with lights, & stainless disslocation cones from  Impulse 4x4 for £100. Thought that was a good deal.
