Hi been thinking of fitting these, can any one tell me, do I need to keep any of the other bonet locking stuff on my car still, )its getting harder and harder to open the bonnet so was thinking of replacing it all with pins.

I removed both the lock pin and the release catch from mine.
 8)

I have still have my lock attached, but i think i am going to be removing it. I removed the lock from my defenders bonnet when i had it with no problems at all (that had military type bonnet catches)
