I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I have an ammo box with wheelbrace, jump leads, warning triangle, tow straps, shackles, torch batteries, shovel, and ratchet thingies for securing loads on trailers.

I keep maps, compass, torch, glowsticks, hi vis, etc stowed in various other locations in the car. Have you guessed I'm in the local 4x4 Response group yet?  :lol:

all the usual tools that you think you may need for the great expiditions that we all make

ie tescos /council tip /kids to and from school / fishing /work etc
spare coat, boots
 but worst of all is the cubby box cds, empty cd boxes that you cant find cd for ,screws nuts bolts pens pencils and all sorts of sweets and wrappers. and map pockets full of old mail, maps, kids comics and more sweet wrappers w
when you finaly have a clear out for holidays etc you put all this in garage/shed  but it still returns and all the stuff you cleared out is still in shed .

One of these!

Theres also a spare wheel somewhere in the cavernous space above.  The rest is kept empty in waiting for whatever I want to carry that day.  Still space for a fridge and bed too!

The Landy tends to be full of random crap - A little bit of everything I've ever carryed is still in there somewhere.

Varries depending on the time of year, ocasionally it can have over a hundred turkeys in there.

Missing are rear seats, which is hand for the time you end up with a whole defender truck cab roof, windscreen etc. picked up during a pay+play.

At the moment (the remnants of this weekend) minus the standard items and just the (extended) boot.

Well this is out of the norm, but for the last month or so I've been carrying around a Dell server as there is no room in the study at the moment!

Also I've got the following sort of normal boot things:

    * Old car battery awaiting the skip
    * Spark Plugs
    * Jump Leads
    * Tool Set
    * And of course some mud!
    * Two sets of boot struts!

Lots and lots of dog hair.

One has it's own towbar in there, another has bits of a V8 engine in there (and it's a TDi, but I can't open the tailgate right now).  Mt LSE had a lillar drill in it for over a montyh, 'till I needed to get an oven in there.
