CV's on a 1990 200tdi disco

<< < (2/4) > >>

extreme90:
no, there smaller on the shaft/cv end
32 spline IIRC and they are quite weak

your far better off with steel wheels any way
dan

discorich:
the alloys wont be a problem for me as i run mods and hopefully mach 5's soon. the newer freestyle alloys from a defender would work as they are missing the center cap. cheers for the advice on the CV's i think i know someone with a spare 90 front axle just missing a diff of which i have spare. cheers for the help again.

Xtremeteam:

--- Quote from: "discorich" ---would the brake calipers from the disco fit? as i run 5 line brakes and 90's were only 3 line i believe.

the calipers of the disco bolt straight on to a defender axle  dont have to split the brakes

bin the mach 5 idea

discorich:
how come on the mach 5's? also in reference to the 90 front axle with the strong splines is that a 10 or a 24 spline?
