I was about to send Spence at Guardian a PM to thank him for the tank guard and drop plate that I bought from him last week, but then I though, Why do it privately??
So, Spence, Thank you very much for the excellent service I recieved, the guard is just what I wanted and went on easy.
I must admit I hadn't thought about how it fitted  so when I realised that I needed to take the bumper off I thought  (thats the polite version) But the bumper came of easily, then it was the grinder to get the tow bar off  a bit of a clean up and a spray with schutz then use a trolley jack with a board on it to position it.
I did need to get a 110mm bolt for one side at for some reason the guard was sitting slightly to one side (my supplier did a straight swap with me :D ) but once the nut was on it pulled over nicely
then it was tighten up, replace bumper and roberts your mothers brother.
Very good solid piece of kit, I'd recomend it to anyone.
Guardian.:
THAT MUST BE BRIAN, GLAD YOUR HAPPY, WICKED BIT OF KIT ISNT IT!
ANOTHER FUEL TANK SAVED!!
GO SEE IF YOU CAN BEND IT
THANKS, APPRECIATE IT
ALL THE BEST
SPENCE
