beatmasterdave:
hi all
ive got a banana shaped damper and rod, the one just behind the front exle. i've replaced the track rod  closest to the front with a sumo bar. i'm guna do a fair bit of road miles, but want it as strong as possible...just in case. may be getting mush larger tyres some time asweel. any advise of what to get? should i leave the damper all together?

cheers all

burgerman:
Challenger 4x4 do a lovely damper with a extra coil spring fitted to assist with steering issues, not got one meself but heard some good reports about um

BtB:
I have fitted Sumo bars to the track rod and drag link, with there steering damper relocation kit (to put it in the same place as a defender). This work well.

I also have a southdown steering guard and full axle guard (which protects the track rod and steering damper in the standard disco position)

I use a Old Man Emu steering damper which i find good.

Bulli:
if you have a steering guard you can get a procomp sj kit and mod your steerign guard to move the damper forward

qt do some great bars

whats this coil assisted crap?

Now thats a great comment!

Why mod a steering guard when there is a bracket available to relocate the damper that fits with a sumo bar.
