Well, as I see it, you can have phone numbers, company names, company logos and all sort of other things on the side of your car, van, bus or truck... don't see how this would be any different.

I seem to recall there being an MSA requirement about competition numbers not making it onto the road, probably as a precautionary measure to try and stop the "competition" entering the road (there's been a number of cases of people racing near hillrally sites etc) but can't remember the specifics...
perhaps I'm just mad :?

I'll have a mooch in the Blue Book to see if there is anything there, but since we aren't an MSA club, and don't run competitve events, I'm not sure it applies.

it does mean herbie was running foul of the relevant rules though :)
