blue strobe lights

Our friendly Boys-in-blue will be along shortly to comment, but I believe that it's a highly 'nickable' offence to have them fitted - I have two mates who are traffic plod, and they take great delight in nicking chavs etc who do this !

Its a no-no but having had a car with them fitted legally, then forgetting to remove them none of them batted an eyelid. I eventually pulled them when I rebuilt the front end of the cars electrical system.

I think if they arent obvious you wont get any hassle, in my case i'd disconnected them anyway in case I did.

The LED strobes I'm building though are colourless, wether they are yellow, red, green or blue units, the LEDs are clear so you could go that route.

Use them on the road though and get caught and you are screwed though. Oh and the standard kit doesnt like water or mud much. Fileld the siren with mud, went to use it a month alter and got
