That only works if everyone else doesn't have the same idea, or if a vehicle is equiped witht a winch. That they are getting annoyed having to recover everyone else and just want to play themselves.
You should always have the means to self recover. The more traction you have, the worse your point of failure will be. This will make it harder to recover the vehicle.

I have no trouble finding a winch attached to self proplled ground anchor when I need one (which is not very often), there has got to be getting on for of a dozen 8274s at college :shock: and multiple trucks with 2 winchs on them, poor students I tell you.
Ridgeback:
I do want to be able to get myself out when stuck and also want both the lockers and winch plus any other bits that will make a big difference to not getting stuck. Its just i can only do one thing at a time ( it not easy telling the other half how much ££££££££££ i have spent on something im going to cover in mud and water)
I want to fit stuff that helps not get stuck but do agree that you should be able to get your self out if needed.
