Laser Eye Treatment

Anyone had it done, and NOT got a good result at the end of it?
Recently that is, I understand the technology has improved quite rapidly.

I have been thinking about it. Know people in Calgary that have had it done, not heard owt about side effectes or complications.

What thay dont tell you is the smell of burning flesh, I have only heard of good results .........but you only have one pair of eyes :shock:

Guy at work had it done a few months ago... nelieve it was so good he's now forgotten he ever had glasses.
Mind you... I don't like that being awake lark when they use a ciger cutter[sic] to trim open the cornea to reach the lens...!

I looked into this earlier this year but my eyes were too bad to have it done although I am not sure I would have fancied it. I looked into it further and in May this year I had my lens's removed and replaced with artificial ones, same operation as for cataracts but with an varifocal lens in.
No glasses, no cataracts in the future, perfect vision and it will always be like this, aparantly (and I know someone this is happening to) with laser the vision can deteriate with age.
Best thing we have spent money on, unbelievable.
