Using Paypal for BIG transactions

(1/3) > >>

MudRat:
Might be selling the motor for 6K, bloke wants to use Paypal to pay as it takes the money out of his credit card account rather than current, he will pay the payapl fees (i think £180) he will pick it up before the money is transferred from my paypal account into my current account. Will this be OK, he was going to PX his 90, but i don't need it. From Yorkshire, sounds genuine, what problems am i going to incur if any, please help. Thanks Lee

L90OOK:
As long as it's in your Paypal account I can't see anything wrong with it?
You will get charged for transferring the money into your account & will take a few days.
I'm sure Paypal has a customers services...give them a call  :)

Lee_D:
Go google pay pal disputes first.

If he wants it that bad then he can get it if he tries harder.

Would you accept a cheque ? Pay Pal is to Yo Yo's as Cheques are to Rubber.

sleeplessparadise:
I wouldn't let him take it before you clear it into your bank account cos he can recall it if it's still in your paypal, they nearly always find for the buyer in a dispute. He can withdraw the money from his credit card if he is that desperate and probably wont pay as much interest on that as he would in paypal fees.

thermidorthelobster:
He should be able to draw it out against his credit card as cash.
