A lad I know of 17 years old found that when he was raided by the bomb squad, right in the middle of his mum's knitting circle!
He'd ordered something dubious off the internet to blow stuff up on the farm (not fluffy animals), and apparently it can be used to make crystal meth, so first the drug squad came knocking on the door. When they realised he wasn't manufacturing drugs, they sent the bomb squad around instead.
He's now banned from buying explosives of any sort, including fireworks.

In as late as the 1950's people were sectioned and institutionised for suffering epilepsy. If you put a sane person in with chronic mental paitients and treat everyone the same what do you thing the outcome is? They're hardly going to become rocket scientists are they :roll:
Thank god for medical research and dignity for all, pity it came too late for our family. My mom as a young teenager lost her mom to instutions for having an epileptic fit. We lost out on having a mother and grandmother because she suffered from a treatable illness.
