rear door problems

<< < (2/3) > >>

Skibum346:
Step 1 door card off...

Step 2 identify any loose/broken rods

Step 3 if you have to... and only if you have to... unbolt lock mechanism and spend 45 minutes trying to figure out how to remove it from the door.

Step 4 clean up and rebuild door lock and rods associated

Step 5 spend 90 minutes trying to figure out how to get the lock back in to the door!

Step 6 give up... tie the door closed and head to the pub for a beer!

Step 6 is the best option

I've always found that if step 6 becomes step one... you care less about the fact that the door don't open anyway!
