sump and fuel tank guard

<< < (2/2)

James.Harwood:
I have to admit that i have never seen a land rover sump get damaged off road, you have the ultimate guard for it called "the front axle"

The series tanks already have a protector plate on the bottom, these are OK for most impacts (have sat mine on it without damage).

mentalmoshio sophs V8i:
it is poss to bend a sump gauard which could have an effect on steering movement.
i was coming out of a clay pit got the one wheel on a sleeper it slip and bent the sump gaurd .
i was giving it a bit of welly .
my sump gaurd was from rebel 4x4

but i  have seen worst done
