The way I look at these things is the same as car crashes lots of people see them and they all assume somebody else has phoned for help .

And I have been told by a couple of my mate's in Llanberis fire brigade that very often they arrive late because of this . A few seconds of your time cost nothing and could make a hell of a difference to someone .

Then again if it were one of my lads and I was drowned I'd sure like people to help him out  :)

At the end of the day it's all down to personal feelings and mine say it's worth a shot .

Turns out that this was genuine and did have a happy ending, so all's well!

but you must admit though that seeing an email like this go around without mention if it in the media does cause a little bit of suspicion

im always weary of these types of email as you dont know what the email contains hidden.
