Offroading in Greece

Just back from holiday to one of the Greek islands (Lemnos) with SWMBO.

We had a fantastic time - 32 - 36 degrees, a bit of dinghy sailing, mountain biking, windsurfing - even tried my hand at water-skiing (wet) :) :) :)

There was a "Jeep Safari" one day so we signed up for that ... turned out to be Suzuki Jimmnys  :roll:  :roll:  :roll:

Unfortunately I didn't have my license with me so the wife got to do the driving - we were in a car with a couple from Portsmouth who hadn't seen a hill in their lives so they were pretty terrified  :twisted:  :twisted:  :twisted:

Quite surprised at the capabilities of such a wee 4x4 - we actually made it up some pretty rutted stuff - although it was bone dry.

We didn't have a 3rd gear though - any time you tried 3rd there was a lovely burning smell from the clutch.

We went off roading in kefalonia, in a cinqecento!! Brilliant crack!!
