300tdi lights onto a 200tdi?

Just wondering if its a straight swap to put 300tdi lights and grill onto a 200tdi, my lights are shockingly bad and also wouldn't mind making the old girl look a bit newer!

Anyone got any idea of a breaker where I am likely to source the parts cheap (or anyone got headlights/grille/indicators spare that I could possibly purchase?)

Seems like an ideal opportunity while the front end is in kit form to do the swap.......

Can't direct you to a breakers but when i had my 300tdi, pattern headlamp assemblies were about £30 and genuine indicators were about £15.

IIRC they arn't a direct swap. I think the panel that the headlights secure too is different on the 300 and, to do it properly, you have to replace those sections of the front panel.
But as Mac says, the price of the new parts isn't that much so seem daft to get them from a scrapyard. Have a look HERE.  :wink:

it needs  a bit of jiggery pokery but one you've bought the surround that they fit in it takes a bit of welding and some trimming of the body work - i paid someone to do mine as i lack the patience to do it !!
