poor running

my rangie 3.9 runs ok on LPG but mis fires on petrol and gets worse the warmer it gets
could it be a air flow meter fault
any ideas folks need to fix it ready for sundays 4x4ing

swapped the air flow from the wifes rangie and it runs fine :lol:
