Mass Air Flow Meter
Range Rover Blues:
Holy snot, for £150 you could probably buy a second hand Hot-Wire system and retro-fit that. Far more reliable (my LSE runs without the MAF connected).
Porksarnie:
RRB, is that easy to do? (as I'm not fantastic with spanners)
The problem with my current MAF and intake is that I had a massive LPG backfire, which caused it to go the way of the dodo!
Rich
p.s. Well done Simon for grabbing the meter off Eblag. Now you'll just have to coax all the grime off it and keep your fingers crossed! :P
Range Rover Blues:
It's relatively easy to do if you get the full system as it is separated from the rest of the loom.
You need the inlet manifold and plenum, MAF and airbox, the full loom and ECU then a bit of rewiring (not hard) and it should be ok. Others on here have done it recently too but Blue has been converted since before we got it and it still runs ok.
