muddymart:
Well folks, i was going to put a 2" lift on the disco, but when you see all the pro's and cons, i think im going to leave it standard,

ive ordered the poly bush kit,
can anyone suggest a good heavy duty suspension package, bearing this in mind i will be towing the caravan as well,
i also purchased a nice set of 7j16 modulars, so im i right thinking ive got to keep to the standard tyre sizes?

auf_wiedersehen_pet:
Modulars are great but remember the offset is different and so they will stand further out than standard wheel/tyre combinations.

Jim-Willy:
Might get away with 7.50's.  Johnty had them on his Disco but i've heard others say they are too big :? .

Land Rover OE HD rear springs, standard front springs, Koni adjustable shocks all round set firm on the rear and soft on the front. Can be a little harsh when completely empty, but is fantastic for towing or when laden. I towed a Desert Wolf trailer for thousands of miles with this set-up, as well as numerous caravans and other trailers, and it performed brilliantly.

Cheggs:
I have 7.50's on mine with Hd springs on defender steels, the HD springs were from MM4x4 about £55 for the 4, just need to do a small cut to stop rears fouling when off road, the Hd springs gave about an Inch of lift, still handles ok on and off road. :)
