4x4 crash

--- Quote from: "thermidorthelobster" ---Tragic, but on the bits I've heard it seemed the fact it was a Land Rover had no relevance to the crash, which begs the question, why is it being reported as a Land Rover crash on national news? There are fatal non-4x4 crashes every day of the week, but I don't hear about a child being killed in a Vectra accident.
Or is there a link? I can't read the news article from here.

Exactly :( Its like with everything thou, apparently if you own a 4x4 you are the scum of the earth, what with our fuel consumption, carbon footprint, & safety issues regarding pedestrians...
Its a real shame that this has happened, and that a child has lost their life, but I don't see any relevance of keep reporting that it was a land rover :?

Have just viewed another story about 5 people being killed in a crash on the M4... strangely thou, those people were just in 'cars' .... I'm guessing there were no yellow land rovers involved

Sounds like they pulled (or forced) over to allow minibus to pass. A non land rover driver would probably have been less courteous.
Appears that it is a D3: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lincolnshire/6998001.stm
