I posted a while back. I was hoping it was stuck although someone has been in and replaced the internal with some rad hose it so is in full time lock. It does work (stay locked) but I now use the car for doing a few miles a week so economy is starting to cross my mind. That said I am not sure how much better off I will be if the front hubs are in free?

All the internal workings have been removed and a length of rad hose or something like has been put in place just to keep the hub in lock. As said it does work, or has done so far even after some extreme lanes.

How much better would my MPG be if I had (working) free wheel hubs (anyone)

It could sound stupid but if I can set the passenger free will it better my MPG?

I have not tried as I  had assumed that both would need to run free
