300tdi Alternator

Hi All,

My 300tdi alternator has started to give up, the lights flicker when the engine revs drop, I have stripped it down and found it has had it so I am going to get a new one.
Now the one fitted is an A127 65Amp, I have seen a A127 100Amp unit for sale for under £100 plus the dreaded VAT but my question is will it fit.
I havent seen a pic but from the description its the same, Thought I ask before I buy.

if its for a defender it will - I have a 100amp on mine in place of the 65a

Yep it is a defender 110.

Fitted a 3.9 V8 alternator on my 300tdi disco at billing coz couldnt find the right one.

 Still fitted and working well
