M19 ROO:
little advice if possible please...

after me thinking i needed a new transfer box and not moveing the lanny for 6 months, got under it and saw the front prob uj was well broke!

fitted 2 new uj's and put back on, all ok and fine, drove for 2 week and a noise started climbed under and one of me new uj was getting very hot, started to limp home (4mile) then a vibration started, getting to 30 was very wobbly!

either way got home front prop off (heat marks on uj caps so deffo gettin too hot) diff lock on and off out, vibration still there really bad, no way i could go over 30,

so any general ideas on this? not wheel balance (to agressive for that).

am thinkin maybe transfer box? bearing letting go makein the flanges not spin true?

cheers Ric.

handbreak binding? that what you mean?

hmmm dont think its bining, while drivein you can pull slightly and hear the point the pads touch the drum..

rear prop not been off as didnt want to run front prop till ive sorted the uj overheating.. checked transfer box mounts while i was under there looked a bit saggy but didnt seem split will have a closer look with a prybar over weekend...

and dont think wheel beaing as it came all of a sudden, instantly...

extreme90:
ok count handbreak out
you checked anything else ?

Where did you get the UJ's from, are you 100% sure they are right size ?
How did the UJ's feel when you put them in new (plenty of grease?), was it nice and smooth or tight.

dont know if you said you drove it with only rear prop on ?

if its a bearing in the transfer box, you should be able to feel play on the output flange
