Cars Needing Work

(1/3) > >>

strapping young lad:
can someone answer me this myth

why don't things break on the cars when its warm outside?

nothing worse than parking your bum on a cold floor when fiddling with thingies under the car!

or worse still

having your jaw banged by a flying hi lift handle... (hehe sorry mr long.. couldnt resist!)

hows your chops now.. hope the vodka cured the pain!

wifey:
be careful boys - that hi-lift handle could cause permanent damage and I only bring a basic first aid kit with me when laning.

Too true  :(

Went to open my rear door last week and nope would'nt have it at all.

Took off rear door panel hoping that it was only a link that had come loose but again no it can't be that simple can it

Anyway it looks as though there is a loop which has come off from somewhere, only problen is its right in the door by the actual lock and is'nt really accessible.

Hoping that by removing some of the links I can get it attached again otherwise the whole lock will have to come out

Anyone else had this problem, I think I know where it attaches but not 100% sure, trial and error I think  :(

So it's had to wait until this weekend because its to bloody cold and dark in the evenings now  :(

The joys of owning a Land Rover  :D

George the Disco:
Do what I did tonight. Sit on an old fleece with a rubber car mat underneath it, wear lots of clothes and have several lamps with you.

It goes dark here at 18.30 so I started off with the lamps around me and didn't notice the time until 25 mins ago when I decided that I really ought to pack in for the night since it was 22.30!

Thats past my bed time :(   !

Chris

strapping young lad:
