You don't need to be registered with the data protection registra to have home cctv.

You don't need to have signs up stating that you have CCTV either.

If some nowt gets caught on CCTV at home doing owt illegal then the evidence IS still admissable in court although you would need some pretty good kit to get a positive ID of someone. The video may support a presecution along with other witness evidence.

Just my 2p worth.

I'm fitting a reversing camera to my disco currently and have also used bullet cans to record offroad attempts ! A rather crude washer jet system was also tested and work very efectively, also the cameras dunkability makes for some interesting veiwing.
