Mentals on sports bikes

<< < (3/3)

Highlander1:

--- Quote from: "Bigbluemaverick" ---For those who think i'm being harsh.

The rider was awake and he admited liability. The landy was not even on the bend and had been on his side of the road prior to being spun 90 deg by the force of the impact.

As has been said befor if you want to leave your brain at home when you go out for a ride don't be too surprised if you go home in a box. This guy was lucky not to be dead, but and i don't say this lightly, he was a retard and had it coming.
--- End quote ---

Is it politically correct to call someone a retard these days?

Or should we have a long winded discussion over several threads on people behaving in a very silly manner being compared to those poor souls in society who are mentally challenged in normal development.
   :?

Guy is called BUTTS and posts on NCGL.ORG.

It looks like the series is in a bad way, chassis and axle damaged, and driver and passenger are bruised and shook up, but OK.

Rider had a badly broken ankle(lucky to get away with that)

Lets face it, we all do summat daft or get something wrong every now and again, sports bike was to blame, but fortunately this time, no fatalities.

Bush Tucker Man:

--- Quote from: "Bigbluemaverick" ---Just seen the aftermath of a nutter on a 1000 carry too much speed on a tight country lane and go head first into the front of a nice series one. Led to a good v in it's chassis.

Having logged onto another forum, I know the owners of the Series 1.

They were very lucky, it was a lovely little motor as well

Butts:
The Series One is ours as Rolla and BTM say.

It's a frightening sight to see anything coming at you at high speed as happened on Saturday. I know the rider did not intend to do that to himself though, who would?

That we all survived the impact is what matters. Seeing a guy fly past you and continue to tumble 30 yards down the road is not pleasant. He is though very, very lucky.  Whatever else, I'd have been gutted if he had been badly injured.

The Series One is in a bit of a mess, but it put up quite a fight!

A right off without doubt, but I intend to restore it back again asap
