Tango:
First question I have does anyone have a exploded view of one of these and can you recon them easy??????

Second question mine leaks like a seive can you buy a seal kit to repair them with or do anyof you know where the usual leak spots are and how to plug them for the MOT!!!!!

Thanks in advance

Les Henson:
The usual places they leak from are the shaft seal (behind the sprocket), the boost diaphragm, and where the throttle spindle goes into the body at the top. They can leak at the pipe connections at the back and these are just compression fittings, so can be repaired quite easily. The shaft seal is readily available from diesel specialists for about £7 each, and the pump diaphragm from the same source for a few quid more. Not sure about the spindle - I've never done one, but I think it's a bronze bush and an O-ring that has to be replaced. Completely stripping a pump is possible, but being able to identify a fault and then get the necessary parts might be very difficult.

Thanks Les nice one so!!!! one more thing it can be repaired on the motor? Rather then having to remove the body. Also Les you any good at doing them!!!!!

Nobber:
mine leaks as well , it was the diaphragm to  begin with , ive sorted that and now ive got a leak from somewhere else , i think its from one of the compression fittings, ive been told to use talc to locate the leak.
if it were from the sprocket it would be from the front timing cover i take it?

Tango:
Well Mine is not leaking from the front where the timing belt is I have a leak from the side where 3 bolts are and I have a leak from the back as well, from the looks of things it could be rather easy to sort, But I really would like some kind of diagram that shows the pump as it would be put together there must be one on the internet somewhere!!! Anyone know where I can get it from????? Cheers
