Welder not working. Help?

Check the wire feed rollers (the clampy thing) against the wire gauge. Bought a non-working welder, when checked the plank had put 0.4mm wire in whereas the rollers only fed 0.6 and 0.8mm  :roll:  Cheap fix of a roll of new wire  :lol:

(I think) I've fixed it. Took things apart and found that a) the rollers had oil on them, and b) the contacts on the trigger (big brass box in the handle) were quite corroded. Cleaned it all up, and ran a perfect bead across a test piece of metal. Result!
