(1/2) > >>

kevinf:
as the title says what would you go for if you only had space/funds for one of the items listed and why

cheers kevin

Boggert:
Waffle boards are light and easy to strap to the vehicle!

Bulli:
i voted waffle but it really depends.

sand ladders are best if you go into the desert, bridging ladders are a fortune and heavy but well made and would work better then waffles for a long span..... horses for courses! sorry.

Lucy1978:
Errm, I've got some waffles that were sold as bridging ladders, thet do the job too.

It is horses for courses but,

if you need a bridging ladder then you may get away with a waffle, but a sandmat/ladder won't cut it.

If you need a sand mat/ladder you may get away with a waffle/bridging ladder but a sandmat/ladder is better.

The trouble with using waffles as sand ladders is thay're quite thick, so you have to climb up a lip to get on to them when you're already out of traction.

Sand mats are probably better than sand ladders too as they're flexible and easier to get in to position if you're trying to dig a wheel out of the sand.

I'm waffling aren't I

Wafles here

L90OOK:
Waffles here...only down side is they get very heavy if clogged with mud.
