Had to visit a customer today in york, but to be honest its a complete waste of time me been here. So I thought I'd give the 110 a complete wash. (Decent Steam Cleaner, and somebodyelse's yard :D )
To say the amount of grief it's had, it's not too bad atm.
On a 2 month old Defender, it has one cracked wheel spat, 2 chipped\scuffed alloys, and a scuffed side-bar. Which to be honest I figure is probably all my fault
However underneath there is like a plastic plate that covers\protects the transfer case. Or atleast there was, it is now a flappy bit of plastic with a large crack accross it. Surely they can't expect these bits of plastic to survive off road ???

Sorry to hear about the transfer case cover, and your right it is a waste of time good for the odd splash of water. But the likes of Whitworth you need Rock-Sliders  Tell you what though, you wouldnt catch me offroading in a 2 month old Defender, good on ya... :D

Sanity was never one of my strong points
I'm tempted to remove it, and use it for a template to cut some 3m steel plate, what do reckon? Only thing worrying me about doing that, is they might well vibrate and drum like the very devil.
