Fuel gauge sender unit

Has anyone bought a fuel gauge sender unit? Does it come with the metal fuel pipe and union. It appears to in the pictures. Typically, mine disintegrated today when attempting a tank replacement. If not, is a short section of pipe and union easy to find in the usual places?
