Bofh:
I guess your sorted now but I thought I'd mention another cause of this problem that I sufferd with.  I had the same sort of trouble, always did it on the aproach to a roundabout when breaking.  Engine cuts out and your in trouble.

Well with mine it turned out to be an air leak, there was an intermitant air leak in one of the hoses under the air intake.  Aparently LPG systems are super sensative and will cut out at the slightest electrical glitch or if there's to much air getting in.

Had my problem on and off for a year or two, one roll of gaffa tape later and its never happend since......

Similar probs with my GC on both gas and unleaded (being generally lumpy to the point of stalling ... yes an auto stalling ! ) so I took it to the guy who fitted the LPG conversion.
He stripped the throttle and cleaned out the throttle sensor unit and it's been fine since. There's a MAP sensor and electric motor thingy (with a plunger thingy that adjusts the amount of air on tickover)  which was covered in gunge .... getting to it wasn't easy even with the correct tools, so I think it was £50 well spent.

How you mean what's a "thingy" ?

My advise it to let a bloke who knows sort it before you mess with it yourself ... maybe not the way a lot would prefer to do things, but it saved me a lot of pain ( and the cost of special tools) trying to sort it myself.
I am not techy as you can see, but an hour with a bloke that knows what he is talking about is far better than days prodding and poking to no avail.

Couldn't agree more......
