move seat back

I have a series two disco and being 6'5",I would like a little more leg room .about 2 inches,
Has anyone done this?

shouldn't be difficult take the seat off the base fit a flat steel plate to the base and drill new holes for the seat two inches further back like

i did hear/see somewhere, something about turning the runners around but that was on a series one disco.

Thanks for all of that but we are talking about a series two which has been completely redesigned and the base is a really funny shape.i shouldn't have eaten all my greens when I was small, I wouldn't have this problem, I could cut my legs down. ouch!!
Every car I have had I have had to change something, You would have thought landrover would have designed a optional extra for big blokes.

I too want the seat to move back just a bit more than it currently does, I'm not 6'5" but feel that I just need to be sitting back slightly, also, I would like to lower my seat a bit.

I will be watching this with interest to see if anyone has any suggestions.

Mine is an 03 D2 without electric seats.
