...Or am I just unlucky?

Last September I bought My 2000 Disco2 TD5 from a reputable non-franchised local dealer. It had avarage miles on for the year and full service history. It drove well and everything worked well..at first. within three months the drivers side rear airspring developed a leak, then the transfer box blew a seal. Now while returning from holiday in devon the clutch self-destructed!!!!!

I can't moan I suppose cuz I have had two long trips through france and have put a fair few miles on it in this country.. just seems to have been an expensive 11 months of ownership :troll:

Hence the sticker (which I really must buy)

"my other car is a Land Rover, it pays to have a spare"

These were after all quite expensive cars with expensive servicing.  It often gets left as the cars gets older too.  Like with other cars you are also often buying someone else's problems.  Mine get progressively more reliable as I get poorer.
