to kenlowe or not to kenlowe that is the question

danielh89:
right ive recently aquired a 200tdi defender 110. in my garage i have a nearly new heavy duty kenlowe fan that i had fitted to my series 3.

i was wondering weather it was worth fitting to my 110 and removing the viscous unit?

any input welcomed 8)

Ive got a kenlowe and its great, pulls way more air than any viscous, more power, and a lower carbon footprint too!!

muck_truck:
Ive got a fan from a Astra on my 200Tdi with a x-eng fan switch.  Much better than a viscous and saves a shed load of space under the bonet once the fan cowl has gone.

L90OOK:
Only fit it if you are going to use the X-Eng fan switch...the Kenlowe ones are poo!

Agreed!!!

Plus it gives the added bonus of being able to switch two fans should you need to.... i fitted two small fans on my truck, one comes on if it gets a little warm.... both if it gets really hot!!
