meader:
thats because the welds on them are rubbish for wot they cost i think they should be welded alot better i have also noticed that mine have got very small cracks in them so ill be welding mine very soon

solihull-mick:
Do you intend to weld your shockers? wouldnt if i was you, gas or oil filled, they explode, did that at collage once on my mk2 escort, welded a bracket back on, exploded in my face, that was a bilstien oil shocker !!!!

Bobtail:

--- Quote from: "chris.hunt22" ---I have pro comp ES9000 +2" shocks on the back of my disco with britpart yellow +2" springs, I was laning up Yorkshire today and noticed that my n/s anti roll bar link had flipped over, I didn,t have a jack to hand or a crow bar so left it as it was, when I got home, on closer inspection I was shocked to find the bottom of my shock absorber had completely snapped off just above the nuts which had also dislocated my spring from out of the retainer and the bottom seat!!  Is this common with pro comp shocks, they are only 4 months old, what are the chances of a direct free replacemnt do you think??

Cheers

Chris

They are guarenteed for life

If you get in touch with Explorer they will replace them

They were very good when i swapped mine :D

rollazuki:
longest procomp they do is 15" travel(guess what is currently on the zook :D )
Its got an eye on both ends, and is 3 and a bit feet long when fully extended.
They are available thro the usual procomp dealers, I think my mate at LRS can get procomp stuff now... :D

Same price as the shorter ones too!
